True Crime: Streets Of LA (Xbox) ... Interrogate. Beat. Eradicate. All in a day's work. As Nick Kang, your brutal reputation and lethal skills have landed you a nasty job: heading up an undercover task force to stop the Chinese and Russian gangs from turning the City of Angels into their hellish playground. Drive, fight and blast your way through a massive array of unpredictable missions, using stealth techniques, martial arts moves and an ask-questions-later arsenal. For maximum replayability, a changeable, branching storyline gives you the freedom to complete missions as you choose-however, you also have to face the consequences of those choices for better or worse. Successes or failures lead to entirely different game experiences, unveiling multiple storylines with no repeated missions. Build skills as you progress, learn new fighting moves, more sophisticated shooting skills and driving maneuvers.

Premium Review True Crime: Streets Of LA (Xbox): Like being in a Segal movie (520 words)

Rating:

In this game you take on the role of Nick Kang a maverick Los Angeles cop who at one point was persona non grata for his violent outdated methods however the triads and the Russian mafia have combined forces and desperate times call for desperate measures so you find yourself back on the street with the task of bringing all the bad guys to justice. To be honest the script for this game could have come out of any one of the Steven Segal films and some of the lines are pretty much from the same source they are so corny and also quite annoying. One of the features I did like about this game is the fact that as you travel about LA completing missions ...  Read the complete review

Nice for the kidz perhaps? Poor graphics, sound and level design

Great graphics; amazing soundtrack; gameplay is still fun; lots of modes; mostly great controls. No online play, even though the PS2 version has it; storymode isn't a dramatic change.

Solid game formula, Why mess with something that isn't broken?, Hiding, Sneeking, Maiming Not as pretty as it could beControls can be awkwardAI needs improving

Loads to do., Voices from the movie Graphics
