Advantages: lots of fun levels, good for all ages

Disadvantages: some of the levels can be quite tricky

Ty The Tasmanian Tiger is great entertainment for all video game enthusiasts of all ages and backgrounds. To set the story of the game, Ty is a Tasmanian tiger who was raise by a family of Bilbies. He had always thought that his family were dead until he was informed that they were still alive but trapped in Dreamtime. So, to save the day, Ty has to rescue his family. There are lots of levels, missions and tasks for Ty to complete to achieve this. The main characters of the game are as follows:

Maurie: Ty's guide throughout the whole game, he tells you what you need to do and instructs you through the different challenges you will face.

Boss Cass: The Cassowary that Ty needs to defeat to rescue his family.

Julius: Julius is a Scientist/Inventor Koala bear. He's the character that creates all the rangs for you.

Shazza: The Dingo that features in a lot of Ty's challenges.

Bilbies: These are the creatures that raised Ty.

Dennis the frog: Ty can collect a lot of Thunder eggs for helping Dennis.

Frill Lizards: Creatures that you have to hit with your boomerang or bite them.

Blue Tongues: Bullies bigger than Frill Lizards and also harder to beat.

Kangroos: Watch out for their kick!

The Bunyip Elder: Mysterious spirit creature that informs Ty of his family's whereabouts.


A great family game, I love it and would reccomend it to everyone!
