Advantages: Awesome graphics

Disadvantages: See review, too many to list here

Although the only games console that I own is a PS2, I was so desperate to try this "new & improved" wrestling game that I went round to a friends house and bugged him until he let me loose on the game.

Good points

The game has a poor season mode. I buy wrestling games for their season mode. I want to be challenged with different storylines and angles, not the same boring crap over and over again.

That being said I did like the little things that they added into the season mode. You get the opportunity to do various activities such as attacking people, interfering in matches, stealing from other wrestlers, resting your wrestler and other things. Each time you do an activity your health goes down, the only way to get this back up is to rest.

Getting to your match can be boring as you have screen after screen of other people's matches popping up before you will finally get to your match. That is something they need to sort out, if I say I want to skip a match then why would I want lots of updates on how the match went?

The ring action is poor. It looks very sluggish and the moves are complicated and difficult to produce on the control pad, reminds me of earlier WWF games in a way.

Graphics are awesome as you would expect from an XBox game. Probably the best feature of the game is the graphics. Sadly the same can not be said for the audio. I ended up turning the sound off because it really annoyed me at how poor it was.

One thing that most other players liked about the game was the ability to create your own wrestlers. Many of us are fans of wrestlers who are not in the WWE and now you can actually create them. Winning the world title with AJ Styles anyone?

The game might be good for a few battles with your mates, for an hour, but other than that I would seriously consider getting something else.

Summary: Great for a couple of battles with your mates, but that is about it I'm afraid.

Not a bad first games review, more details on the gameplay and replay value would help. Not so much with this game but info on the story is very usefull and with more depth into the graphics and sound/music. Eddie (PC/Video Games Guide)

I have this game, but i find it rubbish and boring, but it's not as bad as Wrestlemaina 21.
