I loved it here for a few days

Its my birthday today here in australia, so I thought I would write a happy review about a lovely hostel I found in Noosa, Sunshine Coast. Dolphins beach house is not in the centre of noosa, nor at the junction, but in a suburb full of families with a beautiful beach just down the road. This means that it is a very quiet hostel, with no noise after 10pm, no drunken idiots, just chilled out surfers and people looking for a break from partying, but still with a young crowd. The hostel itself is split into 2 small bedrooms in each bit with a kitchen and bathroom shared between up to 8 people. There are sofas and plasma tvs, dvd players and full kitchen facilities. The fact that you only share this with 8 people is great, firstly its nice and quiet at dinner time, usually you share a kitchen with up to 100 people in other hostels, and its really easy to meet people. Within moments of arriving I was chatting in my living room with my flatmates, they were all really friendly, had done a lot of travelling on the east coast and were a bit more mature than lots of people I have met in other backpacker towns. The evening was lovely, some friends I met in Manly arrived, and we sat chatting to lots of people in the outside terrace, some music was playing and it was a relaxed drink rather than to get wasted. The staff here are really helpful, they gave me advice as to looking for work later up the coast, talked about surfing and ran a free bus service into town. If there were too many people for one trip they would make several trips to make sure you got your bus on time to somewhere else. This is one of my favourite hostels in australia, its clean, small, friendly and quiet. You can even rent a surfboard or bodyboard from them for cheaper than in town! $25 a night for a dorm room
