Newest Review: ... adult nature and on the same street as quite a few sex clubs!!! ROOMS The rooms are actually very nice. Probably the nicest I stayed in while in Munich. The rooms ranged from private to 8 person rooms and most were single sex. They included all beding and they were of quite a high standard. FACILITES -The showers were all along the same corridor as the rooms and you could shower any time. ... more  ... The showers and bathrooms were very clean

I've got a feel for this now... lol The CVJM hostel is actually the YMCA. I ended up staying here purely by accident. We were meant to be staying at the Euro Youth but our unorganised-as-ever boss had left it until the last minute and this was the only hostel available at short notice! LOCATION The hostel is quite close to the Main train station (Hauptbahnhof). Its about a 10 minute walk. However its not in the nicest area. We found it quite ironic seeing as it was the YMCA, but its actually in the more seedy part of the area, surrounded by stores of a more adult nature and on the same street as quite a few sex ... (very) cheap and will let you see room first if you are unsure., Friendly staff., Backpacker area. Backpacker area.Lots of choice so hard to distinguish between varying standards without a bit of a trudge round.Bangkok itself not as nice as other places in Thailand.
