I stayed here and it was one of the best backpacker hostels that I have ever stayed in! Anyone who has visited Las Vegas knows that it is not cheap to find somewhere to stay- especially if your budget was of the backpacker kind, as mine was. I found out that there were only three hostels in Las Vegas, and I chose this one because it had some good reviews on the travel websites I use to book the places I stay in. Las Vegas; the American capital of decadence, is home to it's fair share of cheap accomodation, the purpose of which is to keep you in Vegas, where there's only one thing to do - Gamble. The Las Vegas Backpackers Resort ($13-17 per night) is a youth hostel on Fremont Street, just downtown of 'The Strip', but close to 'The Fremont Experience', which is a collection of casinos downtown, which is more aimed at people with cups full of nickels than the Texan high-rollers who frequent Caeser's Palace. The Hostel itself is superb - the rooms are clean and spacious, with their own bathroom, and a TV (unfortunately we couldn't get a signal). ...
