I've stayed in about 20 hostels in europe bu this is by far the best! I stayed for 1 week in summer 2001. There is a bar, TV, pool table, metal lockers located in the room (free!) and a laundry service across the road. Prices are very reasonable at about £12 a night. The staff are very laid back but have a high level of customer service. It's mostly students and lone backpackers but you'll meet loads of interesting people because it's always busy (in the summer st least). I stopped in this hostel for two nights, and I have to say that I have absolutely no hesitation in recomending it. This has to be the best hostel there is. Everyone I met in the hostel said it was by far and away the best hostel they had stopped in and that is no exageration. The hostel is 4 bus stops from the Ostbahnhoff station in Berlin. It takes around 5 minutes. The buses leave outside the main station. The stop is Grunberger Street. The hostel itself has around 30 rooms, they range from single rooms to 10 bed dorms.
