I've stayed at this hostel on two separate occassions now, and have really enjoyed both stays! It really is a great little hostel, and the price is very reasonable as well. Both times I stayed in the 12 bed mixed dorm, costing about £7 a night. The rooms weren't too noisy as most people made an effort to keep the noise down. There was a safe for each guest, and you programme in your own code to ensure security, this was really handy for our peace of mind! Riga Old Town Hostel is a place that I've never actually stayed at but have hung around there quite a lot as a friend of mine from Essex works there and generally just hangs about there, before him were several other Latvian friends working behind the bar, so I know the place fairly well. Riga Old Town Hostel like most of the hostels in Riga is bang in the old city, this one is perhaps closer to the bus and train station than the others which makes it ideal for travelers.
