Really Safe and cute hostel (The Hive Backpackers (Singapore))

Advantages: Cheap and quality together short walk to train and bus

Disadvantages: none really

I Booked two Hostels mainly because my first option was booked up but this beehive was very sweet and in the right area close to the main bus route into the shopping area of Sim Lim, directions to the bus, just turn right as you leave the doors along the quiet road accross 1 road and you meet a busy road running 1 way down to sim lim...
The Hostel Provided Cornflakes and another cereal with bread and jam along with tea and coffee. The beds are really spacious compared to brisbane and sydney hostels...It gets hot and humid in Singapore but the Air Con in the room is great but only switched on around 9pm.
There is a really good metro sysem nicer than London's underground...this is directly accross the large field from the Hostel where people play football.
There is also free Wifi and nice seating lounge with TV
You do get a smell of the car fumes slightly during the afternoon in the reception which was a small concern but not really noticable...it's really good and safe for a few days stay and the staff were extremely friendly
