Advantages: big bright an well located

Disadvantages: short stay only

I discovered this hostel through the really useful lonely planet internet site. It was the only accommodation that I actually booked before setting off on my travels. I wanted a place to stay for my 1st few nights until I found my feet. The site said that the hostel was friendly and clean which sounded good enough to me.

I wasn’t disappointed when I arrived the hostel was big bright and above all clean.

The drawbacks to Sydney central are that it is short stay only and it is a large hostel which makes it less personal and so harder to meet people.

On the upside however it is clean, fresh and in a very good location at the top of George Street. I stayed there twice and wouldn’t hesitate to go back should I ever be lucky enough to get the to back to Australia.
