Glendalough Youth Hostel (Wicklow)

Glendalough is situated on the Wicklow Mountains, the Youth Hostel in this quaint village based around a waterfall and ancient monastery is a good cheap alternative to hotels and B & B's. We stayed in this hostel in mid February, on a walking holiday in Ireland. We spent two nights here. The accomodation was nice and simple - a double bed, basic cupboard and an esuite bathroom. We paid 40 euros per night, which is pretty good value for a couple sharing. The kitchen facilities were well equipped, although could have done with a good scrub up.
