Glendalough is situated on the Wicklow Mountains, the Youth Hostel in this quaint village based around a waterfall and ancient monastery is a good cheap alternative to hotels and B & B's. We stayed in this hostel in mid February, on a walking holiday in Ireland. We spent two nights here. The accomodation was nice and simple - a double bed, basic cupboard and an esuite bathroom.
